Individual & Corporate Donations
Funds donated to SHFL are used for a variety of purposes, with revenue utilized to directly serve our mission. In addition to ongoing projects, we review opportunities that align with our mission, and participate/provide assistance as we are able.
Ongoing projects include: Backpacks for homeless veterans, welcome bins for veterans occupying housing through the housing assistance program for veterans, and holiday gifts for in-need families.
We are an All-Volunteer Organization. We rely on our board of directors and community support for 100% of organization management and operations.
Funding has also been used to provide: tuition for in-need families with a special needs child(ren), emergency shelter for a veteran families, masks to veterans during COVID-19 global pandemic, clothing and baby essentials to in-need veteran families expecting their first child, financial assistance for groceries/essentials for families undergoing organ donatoin and long-term medical treatment, and SO MUCH MORE.
